“It’s Friday night…and the mood is right…gonna have some fun, show ya how it’s done…TGIF!”

The streaming giant Hulu is planning to promote a newly acquired block of licensed retro programming beginning September 29.  This will come as very exciting news for anyone who was a fan of the hit ABC network “TGIF” block of sitcoms that ran between 1989 and 2000. TGIF dominated Friday night television during the 90’s with family-friendly sitcoms such as: Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step, Dinosaurs, Perfect Strangers, Boy Meets World,  Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and others.

In this new deal, Hulu has licensed all episodes of the original “Full House,” as well as “Family Matters,” “Step By Step,” “Perfect Strangers” and “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.” The deal includes over 800 episodes of “TGIF” programming.

Enjoy this clip for a quick stroll down memory lane…and don’t forget to log on to Hulu beginning September 29 and let the BINGE FEST begin!
