For over a decade BenDeLaCreme has combined her background in the performing & visual arts with a love of spectacle, glamour, and Saturday morning cartoons—dazzling crowds throughout the U.S., Europe, and Australia. She is well known from season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race where she was crowned Miss Congeniality. She has since been named among the show’s “15 fan favorite queens of all time”.
She is one third of the Production company “DeLouRue Presents” which has been bringing beloved annual shows such as Freedom Fantasia and Homo for the Holidays to the stage for coming up on 10 sold out years. In addition, her solo shows Terminally Delightful, Cosmos, and Inferno A-Go-Go have wowed audiences in Seattle, New York, and everywhere in between.
The Stranger has said “BendelaCreme is brilliant” and “a truly magical artist” and in 2014 City Arts named her among their “Artists of the Year.” TheaterMania said of her last off-broadway production that she is “helping to redefine what cabaret can be: an intoxicating cocktail of high, low, topical, and timeless.”
