Local Queen Makes Seattle Debut with “Curse First 2” this Sunday

Portland's premier party children bring a spooky good time to Seattle this Hallo-weekend with an all-star lineup!

THIS SUNDAY, October 29, 2017 LOCAL QUEEN enters “Curse First” into Seattle with a dusk disco & drag show featuring performances from Abbey Roads, Strawberry Shartcake, Fraya Love, Mercury Divine, Old Witch & more with dance beats provided by DJs Robosex Homosex & Cookie Couture.

Coming off a successful Hocus Pocus themed drag and burlesque show in Portland, serving as the official after party for Qurb Magazine’s production of “Hocum Pokem” starring Jinkx Monsoon, Bob the Drag Queen, and Peaches Christ, Local Queen is excited to keep the spook-tacular good time going at Seattle’s Timbre Room.

Starting in 2010 as Genderf**king Takeover, an annual drag pub crawl, Local Queen has since gone on to host the annual Big Gay Boat Ride during Portland Pride, and regularly features showcases with drag legends like Miss Coco Peru, Darcelle XV and stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Local Queen focuses on celebrating drag performers and helping put a spotlight to LGBTQ causes through events and social media platforms. Their performers, looks and designs have been showcased in Portland, Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco, and now SEATTLE! Curse First represents Local Queen’s first foray into Seattle and the debut of their new “Washington” shirt!

The “Curse First 2” magic happens this Sunday with doors opening at 5pm and performances starting at 6pm at the Timbre Room located at 1809 Minor Ave, Seattle, WA 98101.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up in anything from their Sunday best to their Halloween worst and get those looks together for the photo booth, which will include a selfie station, and will also be live-streamed to Instagram. Individual looks will be uploaded to Facebook for a special “best look” contest with a $100 prize package!

Tickets are only $5 in advance ($8 at the door) available at Stranger Tickets: http://bit.ly/CurseFirst2
